R1 Engine age

Hi,

What have you guys used as proof of age for R1 engines? I have a 2003 R1 (I know this because Malc from yorkshire engines told me) But i think i need somthing written for the SVA

Proof not required at SVA as its a 2003 engine, proof only required if its being declared as a pre 95 engine

As it's post '95 and subject to the more stringent emmision requirements you don't have to prove age. Thats only required to get the easier test.

If you don't prove age then you are tested at the post '95 requirments anyway.
