SVA fail at Chadderton
Was a lot better than i anticipated.
Failed on emissions, mirrors and noise was 103!
Was worried about self centering but this was bang on on the test also was worried about the brakes since i was using Willwoods on the back, managed
to scrape through the handbrake efficiency with 17.996% needs to be 18% for SVA and only 15% for MOT so he said he was happy to round it up!
Got a few minor trimming jobs to do and provide a evidence my fuel hose is for fuel.
need to get a clear sticker for the Digi dash so that the brake oil warning light illuminates the sticker rather than just having the icon on the
side.
need to setup the digi dash so that it displays MPH at all times, mine kept saying OIL even though i had turned off the oil alarms...??
All in all it was quite a good experience, the tester even commented how smooth it was to drive for a BEC...
So time to let all the cuts on my hands heal from last weeks effort(Massive thanks to MrGrumpy!!) then fix the rest

Even a SVA fail is not usually that bad an affair.
Mine Failed twice (Only brake ballance on the second time, and my fault!)
It seems that most members of this site have reasonable SVA fails.
My tester told me about self built locost, that had 4 A4 pages of fail items. The tester was on it all day when their time is about 4 hours for
them.
He said it was everything you could think of that was wrong.
Which IMHO shows this site is doing its job, and helping members to build near perfect (SVA wise) cars.
More power to ALL the Locosbuilders on this site... Well Done to you all.
It just goes to show what helping each other can achieve
Finally when it goes to IVA, its still the same chaps testing, and i dont think its going to be any different, except for the list of testable
items.

2. Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.

Belting pass mate. I did wonder about the fuel hose but it was marked. The handbrake I'm surprised on as it was rock solid but that said, mine
can't be moved but still failed.
All in great job and 6 months to play with. You'll be grounded for most of that now
