exhaust sva opionions?
Hi, other than missing a cat i have two sva exhaust questions. Firstly could the hole ive made to fit the headers be too big? Im unsure how its tested
but should i do something to close the gap down for the test atleast?
secondly the exhaust silver has a 90 degree edge. will this pass sva as it is or does it need to be radiused and if so what with and where can i get
it?
Cheers
Adam

your hole is fine (mrs) but it probably needs a bit of U trim round it to make the edge child proof
The corner ok the can is probably ok too unless it's sharp?butt for safety you can always wrap it with exhaust wrap reflective sheet ( see my
archive sva passed 4)

The edge on the can is definitely an edge as it isnt capped like yours so that might be a good solution. What sort of ties have you used to secure the
wrap?

yeah i would say that the exhaust hole looks fine, if you made it into a downward facing triangle with rounded corners and then put some U-trim around
the edge.
when i used exhaust wrap on my exhaust for SVA i just secured it with some garden wire, the stuff that you tie vines to trellace with. cable ties will
probably melt.

you can get exhaust wrap kits which come with stainless steel wires or you could use stainless steel cable ties
