Centre Mirror??
Possible stupid question :-
If I've fitted a pair of "wing" mirrors, on to the scuttle, do I still have to fit a centre-mounted rear-view mirror as well? Cannot
find definitive answer in SVA manual.

Yes you do... even if you can't see much!
Minimum is an external mirror on the driver's side, and the centre mirror.
An external mirror is required/recommended on the passenger side if the centre mirror doesn't let you see much.

I think the answer is yes, at my sva I was told my centre ( interior ) mirror was next to useless but as I had a near side mirror the cetre one
didn't count. I thought it strange at first but the next day back at work I noticed the curtain sided truck I drive had an interior mirror.seems
they have to be fitted as a legal requirement even if they are useless.

Yes, you need one to pass.
The manual says you don't have to have one if it wouldn't give ANY rear view. Without it fitted they don't know that it affords no
view and also any slight view, however useless, is a view.

Have now found the relevant section (10), in the manual.
Thank you, gents, and yes, a centre rear-view mirror will be required. Note 1 (of Sec. 10), stipulates that ...."Obligatory
mirrors are....one interior mirror, and one offside exterior mirror." It also states that an interior mirror must be fitted, unless it
would provide NO rearward vision (ie. obscured by bodywork).
So, that's another item to get.
