Fuel tank isolation rubber
Do you have to use the'propper' stuff? - I used innertube but now wonder as it's not E marked!

Looks like I am going to have to read the Iva manual as I have just used the sponge stuff like others have done ?

I used the foam rubber we use to trim raised access floors with.

one point though... as the tank is isolated by rubber i would now earth it....

You are right. The need for isolation is written into the IVA M1.
^I meant earth here not isolation!!!^

isn't the tank earthed from the sender? My sender has an earth lead as I take it that the screws that go through the sender into the tank to
secure it would be the electrical link between tank and sender?
or am I barking up the wrong tree as usual?

guess that depends on your sender? mine is designed to earth through the tank earth.... but i have added extra earting straps throughout my fuel
system anyway just because it is good practice...
