Taking pictures whilst driving

I'm quite puzzled what i've just seen coming up the A1.

A Guy in a Black Passat was driving along taking pictures of people presumably driving whilst on the phone... whilst driving with 1 hand and taking pictures.. yup you've guessed it, on a camera phone himself"

Anybody any ideas what he was upto?
I did catch up with him later in traffic and asked him what he was doing with the photo's and he said "that for me to know and you to find out". Can people be reported to the police or something in this way?

The Irony of him using a camera fone to take the pics and undertaking and cutting people up to obtain the pics was what got me most!.

using a phone while driving, what ever you use it for is illigal and if the plods do follow it up the image data will say what time and the phot will prove he used it.
Legally he is banged to rights.
Be assured he could never use the photos legally as he would incriminate himself

But then it wasn't him that took the picture - it was his passenger right?

I cant see why people stil do it - it's not like technology isnt there anymore.

I hate seeing people on their Mobiles when driving but without proper Policing - it's a joke! I was almost killed by someone using their M.P. whilst driving so good luck to him...

Touche.. I got my "passenger" to take a photo of him to prove he was on his own lol

You should have seen the state of his driving to get the pics tho, far worse than anybody using the fone!

pop your hands free kit in ring plod and say im following a k**b taking photos while driving..... im sure you would have a good response time. Maybe he was just weird, we have a bloke that reverses and turns around in busy junctions at peek times on the main A38 by my work.

Good response time? Police won't come out for jack! I live 1 mile from the local station and when I was driving down my road late one night/early morning home I heard a blinding house alarm going off. Bearing in mind it was bank holiday and no cars were at the premises it was safe to assume it hadn't been accidentally activated by the occupants as they would've deactivated it instead of letting it go off for 10 minutes. It was bank holiday so probably prime time for scummy, cock bags so there was more chance it being a break-in than false alarm. I rang the station and the Police wouldn't come and check it out...3 MIN DRIVE!!!

There's a vigilante type that MCN have had an article on recently. He gets his kicks out of riding a police bike lookalike, while filming and reporting the riding of other motorcyclists.
Like a few others I'm coping with here, and your camera guy, he really does need to get a life.
People seem to be far too comfortable these days, nothing to really worry about, except the activities of others. Stallin's Society.
