windscreen supports. - Radius compliance

Just assembling my windscreen - I have some S/Steel supports which are 2.5mm thick - does anyone know if they have to be radiused to 2.5mm or can they be merely 'blunted'?

See IVA manual, section 12 (interior fittings) - there is a reference in Annex 1 “Specified Zone Exempt Areas” to the windscreen side pillars - does that mean they are exempt?

Anybody had a fail for this?

It is worth blunting or you can glue on some edge trim

Thanks for the replys, but I am fairly committed to fitting the screen - Austin and Speedy - Built a heater, fitted washers, wipers are next - so - snappers idea looks good to me - found this on ebay - will it do the trick? note its width is 4.5mm - will it be 'round' enough?

Trim link

Cheers!
