IVA - wheel rims

I have some nice aftermarket steel rims I want to put on ..
Anyone know the IVA position on rims other than correct tyre & rim fit sizes?

cheers

You've got to have them and preferably 4 ...but I'm not sure I understand the question.

They have to be secure, so the correct nuts and fit.
Not foul on the body, chassis, etc.
Be covered in "plan view" by the bodywork (special notes on cycle wings in the manual I think).

i'm sure the manual would be the best place to start
can't think of any specifics in the manual, except the edge of the wheel mustn't stick out past the arches/cycle wings
other than that, i don't think i understand the question either

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

I thought it was me

I don't think there are any 'specified' requirements as long as they are not ridiculously over/under sized and are legal and safe?

Sorry can't be much more help than that.

Just thought of another requirement... They have to be round! Don't think that mentioned in the IVA manual though

Seriously, there's no standard requirement (like an E-mark). those should be fine.

More importantly, the tyre speed rating must be correct considering the expected max speed of the vehicle.
