Interior Mirror Question

Hi All, especially those who have passed IVA recently and still give out advice.

As in the title, If i fit an interior mirror, it would have to be quite high as the driving seat is extremely low in the car ( I can touch the floor with the palm of my hand ). Is there any guidance other than if fitted you have to be able to see a line on the floor behind the car?

I don't want to make holes in the scuttle to secure something that is going to look ridiculous in my car if and when it's on the road.

Anyone passed IVA without one fitted ?

Jason

I used an extended stem Racetech centre mirror.

Hiya, Did you make the long stem yourself as I can't find anything like that on their site ?

I got a length of tube from B&Q, cut the original stem in half, araldite, quick spray and Bobs yer uncle
The original stem may have been long enough?
I just wanted to be sure.
