IVA application request

Good morning. I've submitted my IVA application and I got a response asking for more information;

Copies of build invoices for major parts purchased, in the Owners name eg kit receipt(s)

As it's a Haynes chassis built by me I don't have a build invoice? I've got invoices for the raw materials and one invoice for the bodywork, but that's all? What do I need to do here?

I don’t know but I would think you will have to send a letter explaining this you could send receipts for steel etc
I am sure someone will be able to help you soon

I did submit receipts for the bodywork and raw materials and it's been accepted, so on to the next stage.

Interestingly, I've not been offered a date for testing, I've been asked to call them and arrange one. I did the process online so I'm guessing it's different to the standard paper application.

If you've been asked to call and arrange a date, perhaps call and query what they're requesting.

The call to arrange a date was after they accepted my raw material receipts, so it's all good. On to the next step of the process!
