Confused about Donor Vehicle

been reading up about the kit car registration etc...

I want to understand about the donor vehicle. All the major components i took from a single donor vehicle. I then had the car scrapped, and i sent the V5 off to the DVLA to tell them it has been scrapped. Can i still get an age related plate saying that i got the parts from teh above said donor vehicle? will i need the v5? should i not have sent this off to the DVLA?

Would have been better had you at least kept a copy of the V5 & also the vehicle plate, but providing the engine no. matches the Swansea records would have thought you should be ok. Do you have a receipt with the reg no. on?

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

Believe you should be ok with what you've got, if you strip another Sierra & use that V5 you'll need to use that engine if you want to get the points from it toward your age related plate.
