unleaded reducer

I am running a 1988 RV8 on unleaded but do I need a reducer in the filler cap for the SVA or can I save £10 and not fit one?

Not required on pre 1st August 1995 engines IIRC.

Yup. No need with that engine date.... Sailed through without one on the '90 ST1100.... Infact on the first SVA test it was one of the few things they didn't pull me up on!!
