Very neat indeed!

What have you used to cover the shocks there?

fourth photo down, top ball joint/TRE may fail as being a bit sharper than required radius? (obviously this is nit picking, but as has been said plenty times, don't give them the slightest reason to question anything!)

I take it you have measured your indicator extansions and the whole indicator falls withing 400mm of the widest point of the car (often the back arches)?

Steve
edited to add: it looks like a very nice tidy build, well done!

What are the heights of of your fog and reversing lamps, seem a bit low, the rest is looking really good.

That is tidy.

Do you have threads protruding through nyloc that is holding steering intermediate shaft to the upper column?

Can see in pics very well but are front arches covering the front edge of the wheel rim?

That car looks bloody lovely! You have made a fantastic job of that.

You could possibly do with a cable tie on the throttle cabe so secure it to somthing and stop excess movement. Other than that I can't see anything else.

good look with the test.

john.

That is very tidy.
Will the numer plate light be ok that way up,
Most have them shining downwards.
Good luck with the SVA.
Steve.

My first thoughts were

1) wow. Tidy build
2) headlights are quite large ? going to be a problem when steering on full lock with cycle wings hitting them (easy to check!!)
3) fog and reverse lights ? too low (equally quick to check!)

other than that, the only thing I thought is that your dash is very much like my one!!!!

It's all been said before. Nice looking car Gary, so go for it - you deserve to pass.

I noticed the potential lack of thread through the steering column nut as well

I have to say its a lovely looking car.
One concern, and it may be the angle of the photo. Have you got an offset angle on the steering column. Mine failed on that, should be 15 degrees I believe.

Wow, what a response. Thanks for the encouraging remarks.

To answer some of your questions and maybe promote some views:

1. The lower part of the shocks are covered with a cut down steering gaitor.

2. The height to the bottom of the rear fog and rev lights is 290mm. I believe this is OK?

3. The nut on the steering column clamp is in addition to the thread in the clamp so is only acting as a lock nut, so I was not that concerned that the nyloc was not bitting?

4. Yes, it is an NSX.

5. The steering column dogleg angle is very slight. I was hoping that the Sierra crushable housing and sliding section would be sufficient to satisfy the SVA?

Cheers
Gary

Very tidy. Can I ask what the clear stuff on the chassis 'ears' at the front are? Looks like summat I might use.
