seat runners
I fitted seat runners in my MK Locost. They lock with no weight on the seat, but when you sit in the car they won't lock. Do I actually need to
fit seat runners for the SVA. The car will only be used for me so I can permantly bolt them to the floor to suit my leg length.
I've got short legs so if I take it for the SVA and the lanky guy at Nottingham does the test, he might have difficulty in driving the car,
because of his leg length. Can he fail it because of this?
Or do I just percevere and try and get the seat runners to lock when I'm sat in the car.

No mate. You don't need runners just bolt them down. I've bolted two 19mm box section across and then bolted seats to them rather than
straight to the floor as mines ally and I'm a bit worried about my arse falling through over time

Seat runners are not an SVA requirement. My seats are bolted directly to the floor of my Indy. Like you I'm the only one driving it so I set
the drivers seat right for me and bolted it down
