Piping support

Hello, I am after a support for my water piping. i wanted to weld on a Y shape bit of metal to the chassis to support the pipe to the water pump (Im running a 1.6 pinto) A friend said there is a spring bit of metal i can get that will do the job any ideas?

I used a bit of bent ali strip on my CVH to support water pipes.

Seemed to work OK.

We used LARGE Rubber Insulated Stainless Steel P-Clips... a bit agricultural but they're still on!!!

You can get thick plastic coated steel band with holes at about 15mm centres that is used to strap all sorts of pipe on building sites, I have used a bit for pipes on my car, it is not expensive and available from electrical wholesalers.
