sva waiting times

im not far from being finished (1 - 2 months?) does anyone know the approx current waiting times for sva, i will be going to Bristol.

hoping to have the car on the road early this year to get the most out of it but if the wait is really long i guess i should apply soon.

Sorry to hi-jack. My car is in a similar position and would be interested to know how long. Also what are the costs and what else do you need (ie V5 etc)

they can book me in next week lol not ready quite that soon.

the nice woman said they have a v v short list, that i was best of sending forms off now and then they can arrange a date that i will be ready for.

its takes about two weeks for VOSA to process the paperwork

yes theres people who say "well they did mine in 48 hours"! Thats great!

go with that time scale as they are now asking us for pics of the car being built by the customer not by us and all there receipts so this adds another week hence two weeks

We now have 5 cars awaiting SVA all with there paperwork gone and pics from customers with receipts but it causes a hold up for us we have no control over

be prepared for them to ask you this
