How Does a Self Built Engine Affect SVA Emission Requirements?
What if I was to (hypothetically) build an engine from scratch... how would the SVA man regard it (other than suspiciously ).

If you built it from scratch, then as the manufacturer, you could supply proof of age, which of course would be pre whatever you decided

I built up a 4.6 rv8 from a new "short engine" from rpi. I was surprised to find it had no engine number, so I was able to use the number
from a "retired" old 3.5......
