Bike Engine and Non Q Plates
Just wondered how easy it is to have a kit car with a bike engine that is on an age related plated instead of a Q!!!
If this is possible, what i would have to do to achieve this, does this just affect the SVA now, or would there be any chances in the new IVA?
Many thanks.

The 'Built Up Vehicle Inspection Report' V627/1, list major components for a car as;
Chassis/Body Shell
Axles
Transmission
Steering Assembly
Engine
Suspension (front and back)
You only need to use 2 of the above from a donor vehicle to qualify for an age related plate and as the form is rather vague it is open to
interpretation.
If you have the V5 for the motorbike you can even get the age related prefix from the motorbike.
