newcastle (gosforth) SVA

had a few people say not to take the mnr too newcastle for sva?? but i only live a few miles from it.

what would they fail me on that other places wouldnt

thats what i thought mate, i need a sva cheat bar, some mirrors and some indicators and i think im sorted.

Gosforth seem to have had an issue with MNR's in the past. Rob Ryan might be worth chatting to. I seem to recall the ali steering rack extensions were an issue for him.

Be prepared for them to check any indicator bars very carefully. I seem to recall he mentioned that by rights they should be structural ish and act as a bumper.

Gosforth have a reputation for being more strict than some other places but i passed there (2nd time) and felt that he was fair.

Well i could bolt it too chassis i suppose but how big a bolt can i put through chassis without causing it too weaken.
