Where can I get a Mountney steering wheel pad for the SVA?

Thanks
Ed

They've stopped making them so it's either finding someone who doesn't want it anymore (they occ come up on Ebay etc) or fabricating something similar....

I used 4 layers of hardish foam (offcut from Woolies) cut to size, secured by lots of duct tape and SVA man at Nottigham was perfectly happy

I had mine all covered with padding........A fail........

Some crap about the steering wheel would not deform in the event of accident.

My advice is, get your hands on a standard steering wheel (sierra) for the day.

Cheers,

B

A number of us have put our buggies through the test within the last 12 months.

When using the Mountney steering wheels the testers have wanted collapsible bosses and have then been happy to accept the wheel without any form of padding on the centre.

Whilst costing more this method looks better than sticking padding on and has a long term benefit in case of an accident
