Following on from my previous brake problems. I decided to start with a new rear master cylinder (got to start somewhere) Fitted the new master, no problem and bled with the easy bleed, got air out and then just fluid, great I thought but no sign of a pedal. So went to the traditional method and couldn't get the pedal to move any fluid at all. After many atempts I removed to brake pipe from the master to see if i could build any pressure against my finger, nothing. So another five hours on the back brakes and they are worse than when I started.

I'd guess at your Master Cylinder... not the Brake Cylinder...

Since you refer to having a rear master cylinder, is this part of a twin master cylinder and balance bar arrangement?

If so, you will need to also bleed a front wheel at the same time as the rear. This will allow the rear master cylinder piston to make full travel.
Alternatively, winding maximum bias towards the rear brakes may increase the rear master cylinder travel sufficiently.

I've wound the bar towards the rears, and bled the old master like this ok. Looks like I might be stripping the cylinder in the morning.
