fitting first side = 30 mins

admiring new parts fitted = 10 mins

fitting second side = 20 mins (always quicker 2nd time

blakep82 - 15/4/09 at 12:59 PM

jambojeef - 15/4/09 at 01:05 PM

Yep, Sierra uprights, I reckon the master cylinder will be OK, we'll see on that one.

I'll fetch it up when its on so you can have a butchers

Rear brakes are poxy little 8" drums that are going in favour of 10" off an XR4i or the 9" jobs off a Sierra, if I can find the back plates!

Re the financing.. lumped it all on the Barclaycard and I was that excited on the phone I forgot to ask what the total was

All the admiring of the new bits will be done the night before, after wor lass has gone to bed!

Only thing not looking forward to is cutting the swagged m10 ends off the Goodridges and fitting the new swivels.

dont forget tea breaks!!

we spent about 8 hours changing brembo discs and pads last week-the longest part was cleaning everything up...need a new toothbrush now

Hellfire - 15/4/09 at 06:02 PM

Don't forget to add a couple of days to machine the mounting bracket to ensure your disc sits central in the caliper.

You know the job has been worthwhile if your knuckles are bleeding.
