So I popped over to Bedford first thing this morning and was waiting on the doorstep when Anglian Fasteners when they opened at 8.30 I got a box of
M8x50 cap head screws to replace the ones I accidentally trashed
So I now now have a full set of bolts thread locked and torqued up to complete the back end work.
For the MOT I needed to get the windscreen washers working again after a pipe popped off on the way back from Curborough last year and did quite a lot
of carpet washing instead...
So with side cutters in hand I attacked the fish tank and liberated a length of the air pump tube (mrs kermit is not impressed by this) and with the
aid of some nearly boling water eased the new pipe in place.
Woohoo I though and tested the washers. What oozed out was green gloop - it took a good 10 minutes of flushing before they started working propperly!
I have never experience that before!
Anyway I duly turned up for the MOT at the appropriate time and departed a while later with a pass!
WOOHOO! Back on the road again!
Green gloop? Thats because fish don't fit through water jet pumps
LSD? No wonder you're seeing green gloop!

Another report of washer fluid turning to goo

That sounds exactly like what happened.
I will give it a thorough flush later in the week. (if it ever stops raining)
Woah - anglo rocks!! Does anglo fasterners babe still work there? Not been there in a while!

gotta say that I didn't really fancy the guy who served me
