LSD and MOT
Xtreme Kermit - 30/3/10 at 04:30 PM

So I popped over to Bedford first thing this morning and was waiting on the doorstep when Anglian Fasteners when they opened at 8.30 I got a box of M8x50 cap head screws to replace the ones I accidentally trashed

So I now now have a full set of bolts thread locked and torqued up to complete the back end work.

For the MOT I needed to get the windscreen washers working again after a pipe popped off on the way back from Curborough last year and did quite a lot of carpet washing instead...

So with side cutters in hand I attacked the fish tank and liberated a length of the air pump tube (mrs kermit is not impressed by this) and with the aid of some nearly boling water eased the new pipe in place.

Woohoo I though and tested the washers. What oozed out was green gloop - it took a good 10 minutes of flushing before they started working propperly! I have never experience that before!

Anyway I duly turned up for the MOT at the appropriate time and departed a while later with a pass!

WOOHOO! Back on the road again!

Green gloop? Thats because fish don't fit through water jet pumps

LSD? No wonder you're seeing green gloop!

That sounds exactly like what happened.

I will give it a thorough flush later in the week. (if it ever stops raining)
