Need some help with my steering rack. I knew it wasn't a quick rack but just reassembled front suspension to sort brake lines and swung the
steering to the lock stops......except there don't seem to be any. I have more lock than a black cab but it will also bust my braided hoses znd
no doubt the front wing once fitted.
How can I restrict the lock? On the rack itself? Not sure where it came from but it has been cut and shortened.
Suggestions?

Otherwise fit some valve springs inside the rack covers, gives some self-centering too
I used bits of split rubber pipe held on with jubilee clips. Got me through SVA because the extra 'springiness' really helped the self
centering(!!!) and they're still on there. Could've used valve springs, but didn't have any at the time. Either solution should work
well.

hi, well mine was, you could not with out taking the steering rack boots off, and a little bit of taking bits off to see, them, and they were alloy,
so could have been original in from my point of view, but then again the steering rack is not stock and have been cut and shorted down, so in that the
case the rack is not stock, or is it???
