Quick question I hope.
I'm having a nose round the web and have found a pair of Dynalites on Ebay. But is the solid sierra disc roughly 9.7mm wide, as that's what
the calipers I've found are for? OR do I need some odd aftermarket disc?
Would these calipers, with the smaller 35mm bore pistons, be suitable for a 700kgs car do you think? I'm not too sure when it comes to
spec'ing brake parts as yet as I've never dabbled with them in the past.
Ta muchly.
PS, is the Rally Design price of £110 + VAT for a single caliper?
PPS, With a "normal" sized disc, are these likely to fit under a 13" wheel?
Ta very muchly!
Sierra discs are designed for a 14" wheel so may not fit 13" wheels. A cortina type disc and caliper is ideal for a light weight car.
Vented discs are heavier than solid and not realy required for such a light car. Lots or them still about new or s/hand.
I don't need 13" wheels, they just fit a little better on a Sprite than 14" ones. Although both will fit easily.
