Any chance of a pic or two of folks setups please - Ive got Sierra r/hubs and calipers.
Or a Haynes manual drawing might help - the caliper appears to need a spacer behind it, as its not going to reach infront of the hub, not sure how
much the disc offsets but I havent got any yet.
I not sure i fully understand the question.
Are you saying that you need a spacer between the slider bracket and the carrier?
Edit: and are they solid or vented?

Thats right - I expected to just bolt them onto the flange, but there is quite a big difference in the alignment. I dont have Sierra discs yet, so
they may have enough offset to line everything up. Ive not got any yet....
Or theres a spacer required.
Did Sierras use different types of handbrake caliper ? Sure I read somewhere the scorpio ones were slightly different.
I have a feeling these are Cossy calipers. The guy I bought them off wasnt sure.
solid - is the plan
Thanks

All the disc calipers are the same, the only difference is between the vented and solid calipers. The reach of the caliper on the vented disc is
longer.
Im 90% sure that the carriers determine the dia of the disc not the calipers or sliders.
Have a look here Sierra Cosworth rear calipers | eBay and your see what i mean.
So to sum up, providing you have a Granada/Sierra carriers and Sierra/Granada calipers they sould be find. The dia of the disc should be the only
question?
This is my standard sierra setup, there are no spacers
Cheers

Thanks for the replies,
There is something not right, I need to find out from Nat what hubs/carriers are on, as far as Im concerned they are Sierra, and so are the calipers I
bought for a solid rear setup.
Will give him a ring tomorrow, to find out what Ive got.
cheers
