Ford Sierra Column types Fixed, Adjustable etc
mikeb - 21/3/12 at 02:10 PM

I have a adjustable steering column from my donor pack.
But unfortunately the the ali casing around the steerign lock has been broken (I think the lock might have been forced off).
This stops the steering lock functioning and also holds the bolt for one of the column stalks.

does anyone know if this item would be compatible, was there any difference in the cosworth parts?

Sorry just to confirm.
I don't want to buya complete new column.
Was looking to just swap out the ali casting, the auction listed is pretty much just the upper assembly and casting but listed as Cossie, what I need to know if that is direct swap the standard adjustable column assembly I have.
Thanks

Well as its a Sierra column it should be exactly the same, the Saf was just a tarted up standar car, so can't see Ford building a special column for it. IMHO Cheers Ray
