Hi All
I'm looking for hubcentric adaptors that go from 12mm (Lotus) to 14mm (MG) wheel bolts (sacrilege I know :-) ). I can't seem to find these
on the shelf and getting them made will be costly!
Can I but 12mm ones and get them tapped out to 14mm or is the 12mm 'hole' too big?

Thanks

Assuming you're looking at M14x1.5mm threads, then the tapping drill would be 12.5mm so your M12 hole should be ok to be drilled-out that extra 0.5mm ready to tap M14.
Cant see why not assuming the PCD is correct. You would need the correct size tap drill and ideally a pillar drill at minimum.
Major diameter of an M12 is 12mm
Minor diameter and tap drill of an M14x1.5 is 12.5, even an M14x2 is 12mm
So yes, close but feasible.
Daniel.
Thanks guys - I'd worked out it was possible but wanted to check!
I won't be doing this myself as I don't trust myself to do it right!
Also got a few people working out a price on making them with the correct wheel stud sizes.

If the PCD is correct can't you just modify the hub? Ideally you could fit studs to the hub and use wheel nuts, much better than poxy bolts.
Offset is wrong too!
