Suspension Setup
Alfa145 - 17/4/12 at 02:01 PM

After my scarey trip to Blyton on Sunday and finding my back end was like it was on ice.

Any recomendations for companies that can setup my suspension to something like correct and give me some knowledge on how to then tweak it? Also what sort of cost would I be looking at?

Yes I know I can soften this off and stiffen this up but I would like to know what I have is correct spring rates and correct wheel alignment and correct corner weights, etc... Once I have something close I then have a decent benchmark to further tweak, as it stands I'm just guessing.

Looking for places around Chesterfield/Sheffield.

Someone at Blyton mentioned a company called Rutland or something, unfortunatley my senility has let me forget the name of the company.

Hi

Thanks all for the recommendations. IF The OP is interested just give me a call in the workshop. Tel-01213503258.
We charge a flat £200. That includes the usual full geo setup corner weighting Dampers removed and dyno tested / balanced and spring rates tested. We don't just give you the static settings as per a 4 wheel laser setup we also map out the camber gain Etc so you have a full setup with much more info on what is happening to the settings during cornering also.

Cheers Matt
