Ive had the Austin Princess 4 pot calipers, on my car for years, but seeing some on an Mk2 escort a couple of weeks ago, and he had them plummed in very differently to me

Has any one got a pic of how they should be plummed in, or what there setup is

I think, even though i may be wrong, they work fine, and bleed fine from both sides of the caliper, ??

Mine has one feed from MC going to the rear top port, (caliper at back of wheel) the front top port then goes down to the same side middle

There is a bleed nipple on the top, on the inner side, and in the middle of the outside

Exactley how mine are done, so perhaps that escorts brakes dont work to well !

That wasn't my car, just some pics I found, but it was the way mine were installed before I swapped to alloy units, and they worked perfectly. Not sure other than maybe swapping the inputs how it can differ that much.

As long as the fluid goes in and the two sides are connected the brakes will work. Were they joined via the bleed nipple connections and the nipples in the two holes left ?
