omega or sierra

hi im building a haynes roadster with a 2.0l redtop c20xe engine
i now one of the best gear box for this is omega 5 speed
but will the diff drive shafts ect fit or is it best to use sierra rear end

I would suggest using the Omega gearbox and a Sierra rear diff, that way all you have to alter if the gearbox mounting. Then just get a prop shaft made up that fits both ends. HTH Ray

you will just need a propshaft making which uses the diff end for the ford and input from the omega may cos a little bit more but at leas you wont need the adaptor plate

Speak with monsterob on the Haynes roadster forum, I think he has gone Vauxhall with a x20xev engine, I think basically the same.
