I haven't done yet, but I have all the pieces of the jigsaw. Just trying to find the right time to do it!

Fair enough! Doing mine over Xmas, what size wheel do you run on yours?

These are the parts I'm using:

3/4" 16SWG CDS.
Quick Release boss from Merlin Motorsport
Splined bar (half welded into upper, half into lower) from Rally Design
Group 4 escort U/J from rally design
3/4" bearings with pressed steel housings from Simply Bearings.
Wheel adaptor to suit mountney (not sure where from).
10" mountney wheel.

The CDS needs polishing down slightly to fit in the bearings.

Looks good, I'm going same route just no qr boss and going to use a rose joint for last support under dash I think

Rose joints have a lot of stiction and unless you can find a method of gripping the steering column in the inner race, you'll end up with the column spinning in the bearing!
