For reasonable pedal pressures without a servo you need a smaller bore tandem cylinder than the original Ford a lot of people have used the Fiat 124 cylinder.

Hi,
My car passed SVA with mk2 Escort non servo tandem cylinder. I had no problems with pedal pressure. The pedal box and pedal were made to give the same leverage ratio as the Escort doner car.

I use the standard Toyota MR2 Mk1 cylinder on the Furore, just remove the servo, can lock the front brakes up with little effort.

so, and what's the cylinder bore you both used in your cars?
