TYRE SIZE.

Hi Chaps bit of tyre advice please.

wheel size 6x14 on a 2ltr westy with around 160 bhp,presently using AVON CR 336 -185/60/14 which are old and hard !! but very entertaining on roundabouts,The car is only used on the road.

I was thinking toyo proxy CF1's 185/60/14 or could I go to 195/55/14 with a 6 inch rim????

Alas 14" never has offered a great selection of tyre availability one thing you might want to consider is fitting one size wider section tyres on the rear

or even one size up or down to 13 or 15? just thinking out loud

I did consider going up a size to 15 inch,but new tyres and wheels not sure the boss would approve as just fitted new 45's!!Wondered if anybody was using 195's on 6 inch x14's and if so what tyres??
