Hi guys,
Quick one,
Replacing the seals, do i just unscrew the piston all the way out and shove in some new ones?
Regards jon
The main part of the Sierra rear caliper that needs cleaning/rebuilding is the handbrake mechanism inside the caliper.
Full re-build kits are cheap from Biggred.
I've just re-built mine.
The handbrake mech is quite fiddly to strip and rebuild though, you will need a G clamp and some long reach circlip pliers.
You can use the handbrake arm on the caliper to push the piston out if you want.
