Has anyone use on a Haynes Roadster the Omega B running gear ?
I allready have the front and rear hubs with brake discs and calipers, the prop shaft an the rear differential with drive shafts.
And I want to know, what i need to modify/adapt in order to use the parts above on the Haynes chassis.
I want to use the Omega running gear because i want the big brake discs ( 296 mm front, 286 mm back ), the car will be use for track days only.
I will apreciate any help or info.

If your going to track only you really need all lightweight things, from memory the omega items are heavy bulky and heavy. Also massive vented discs on such a lightweight car isn't really necessary and if anything will do more damage to your handling than help with braking.

Keep everything as light as possible then you don't need massive brakes, get some alloy calipers and keep the unsprung weight down.

You are right, the Omega big discs and calipers are heavy, but I get all the parts at a bargain price and I try to keep my cost to a minimum, alloy calipers and special performance brakes are very expensive.
Except the big brakes I will try to keep the weight down as much as possible.

Yep and I have alloy wilwood calipers and vw alloy rear calipers which are quite capable of stopping the car lol
