can anybody tell me where i can get longer wheel studs to fit cortina hubs?

Some people like demon tweeks do after market wheel nuts/studs.

Having said that, my brother asked for a set of longer studs from a dealer for his rover and they where not too positive about the idea.

Also look at Sierra front studs

took mine off a set of sierra hubs, you should be able to get them at the breakers easy enough....

i got sierra ones form fords to fit my cortina hubs it was about £8 ish

Rally Design do all sorts of lengths to cater for spacers (if used) or thicker alloy wheels. You need 12mm 1.5 jobbies. Go for 6 full turns for safety and SVA.
