Master cylinder mounting

I've mounted my master cylinder just above the end of the footwell, with the pushrod entering over the top rail into it. The pushrod is not exactly parallel (because of the space available and location of existing holes in the pedal for the clevis pin this would be hard to achieve).

Does it matter it the pushroad goes in at a slight angle into the cylinder? It does not foul the inside edge of it.

even though it does have a ball on the end, the piston will be pushed slightly sideways in the bore causing it to wear prematurely, this could cause the cylinder to fail. You will also get a slightly different ratio of pedal as the pedal travels through its arc. depending on the travel of the pin, be carefull!!!!!
