Whats everyone using ? I have seen some sheet metal ones and I personaly do not like the look of them. This has been extremely frustrating part of the project!

Any pictures would be greatly appreciated!

Have you looked here? Mine are a similar design in pdf format, and were designed by this guy., so there are alternatives to a sheet metal design!

--HTH, Chris

PS, I ditched the front inboard design idea, but you can have a look at the lower control arm.

Thanks Chris,
I am trying to avoid the use of sheetmetal because it simply doesnt look very good in my mind.. I think I came up with a design in the shower and should have it built by this morning.. Stay tuned!

Any other ideas welcome!

Nice job. Unusual looking BJ.
Your foot is remarkably blemish free for someone who has just been welding!

Special invisable shoes I actually swept up and the garage is spotless so after i showered I went and tool the pic.

Its a factory mIata balljoint.. The spindle has a damn crazy angle so I landed up using the ball joint.
