Please can you advise me whether I should use Cortina Uprights or Sierra Uprights with a convertion kit on my locost. I am very mindful of the
brakes.
Thanks in advance
Which back axle are you using?
If you're going Escort track then stick with book wishbones and Cortina uprights.
If you're going Sierra rear axle then I'd go with the matching wider track wishbones along with Sierra uprights.
As to the brakes then if you're upgrading then the most common fitment for Wilwoods etc. is to Cortina uprights.
All IMHO!

Thanks James,
My thoughts were to use the sierra 4x4 front brakes.
Regards the axle, I wil use the sierra LSD so you think I sould go for the sierra uprights.
Thanks

I entirely agree with mookaloid, the Cortina upright offers a much neater solution, and there is a vast choice of brake options for it (ok, there are for the sierra too!), as well as upgrades like alloy hubs etc available cheaply off the shelf.
Your bones will need to be different as well if you use the Sierra uprights as the ball joint mounting positions are different.
Pat...
Sierra is better for wind resistance!
