what has everyone done about steel retaing strap that holds disk on cortina hubs

can i get replacement straps or can i get away with lock tite

I saw plastic ones online somewhere, placed over each bolthead, and tensioned against the rotation of slackening.

i had to go direct to ford to get mine they only sold them in packs of 5 (minimum order they said) but still only cost about £6 and they came the next day so i have a spare one somewhere if its any good to you
