What calipers can go on sierra glx hubs? IE xr 4x4 items etc? Thanks you!
er actually not XR4x4 items (unless you wish to modify them)
I am informed that the best braking to be had uses cosworth 283mm discs and Granada Scorpio 24v calipers and pads. Cheap solution too!
The use of alloy 4 pots (Willwoods etc) will save a little in terms of unsprung weight but few people will be able to tell the difference.
There is also a big price difference if you go for wilwoods or the like.....
Hope this helps

Will cosworth calipers bolt straight onto the hubs or will they need modification? To be fair im not a racer (although i am planning on track days) so think standard ones will do, but am just having trouble finding cheapish ones so thought id widen my search a bit.
2wd Cosworth calipers will fit I believe

No 2wd cosworth calipers (4pot) won't fit without grinding large amounts off things.
Cosworth 4x4 calipers WILL fit (but the cosworth 4x4 discs wont - 2wd 283mm discs needed)
Cosworth 4x4 calipers are the same as Escort Cosworth 4x4 and Granada Cosworth 24v so any of those will do.
However the contact area of the brake pad is deeper not wider so you actually loose out on braking efficiency by using them over the standard caliper
(Sierra/Xr4i/Escort Mk4 Turbo etc etc)
