Master Cyl Reservoir, beautiful job!!
NS Dev - 15/8/05 at 07:56 AM

I posted a while ago in the interior section that my mate Clive (Custom Solutions) was making some nice bits. (He will soon be doing the triple outlet reservoir for my master cyls on the 7, as well as a stainless rad header tank)

He has a Manta with a V8 in it and ended up using a Pug 309 master cyl as it had the right bore sizes for his brakes.

Here's the rather clever and appropriate reservoir he made for it, I think it is just superb work!!!!

I know it's slightly promotion but his website is.............

some people have too much time on there hands - that is absolutely stunning!

A finishing touch would be a cap that looks like an air filter.

Very nice work.

That's just the thing Mike, poor old Clive has absolutely no time on his hands! He works his day job, then comes home and makes things like that for other people in the evening, then rings me up (yesterday afternoon) to say that on the way back from getting some fresh TIG gas, the clutch blew up on his road car!!

He just will NOT skimp on his workmanship though.

Very nice work.

Funnily enough, yesterday he was turning the top of the cap down a bit and fitting a stainless disc on top of the plastic cap with "K&N" engraved into it in a suitable font!!!! Looks cool, as the real K&N sits next to it on top of the Holley carb!!

beautiful!

makes me wanna go out and buy a tig welder.

MikeR - 15/8/05 at 07:25 PM

you see, i know i haven't got the patience to do that unless i can do it in the lounge over winter..........

so it makes me want to go out and fix clives clutch with him - then hope the time he's saved he'll make me something that nice.
