Can someone tell me how I can tell whether my Steering rack is Mk1 Escort or Mk2. Im rebuilding and it seems my kit was made out of Both Mk1 and 2 Escort's....

Mk1's had UNF threads for the track rod ends IIRC...

Yep, Mk1 is imperial MK2 metric threads...
