To be honest I did'nt think any was required, however I was informed that graphite grease was the best to use to actually help get the bush into the arm etc if it was tight.

I have been given conflicting advice on this in the past. The bushes i have used have graphite blended into the compound to eliminate the need for grease. Apparaently when new and bedding in a small squirt of WD40 can help after dry assembly and torquing up. I have bought some bushes for my old Golf that had a small tube of red rubber grease in them - they were a cheap aftermarket kit, i used the grease but was then plagued with squeaks for ever more - only cured by tightening up very tight or slackening off, both not desirable.

Prepare to be told several conflicting stories!! Probs best to ring a poly bush manufacturere for their advice.

Polyurethane ("poly" bushes require molybdenum disulphide grease - or "moly grease", which is usually pencil lead coloured. Except for the red stuff!
Teflon (PTFE) and Delrin do not require lubrication.
