sierra front uprights

i have just got my plans from g.t.s for the sierra donor and was wondering what mods are needed to the front uprights,as i have facilitys to do the work myself rather than send to g.t.s does anybody have any drawings or photographs. thanks adrian

the only mod is widening the bottom balljoint hole, to the correct size taper. I forget the exact dimensions, but if you search, dont believe the first thing you read. It is often misquoted.

Allegedly, mk2 astra ball joints fit straight into the sierra hub.

The taper I believe is 14 degrees

It sure is!
The taper is 1:8 which works out to 7.125016°. If you machine or ream the hole so the major diameter is Ø17.3mm you'll be good to go.
