Can you advise please, do you have a return spring on your brake pedal, I have dual circuit master cylinder with bottom pivoting pedal, the master cylinder has its own return springs yet the old escort pedal box also had a return spring

I put a couple of return springs on mine. Don't know if there was meant to be one or not but it's better with than without. I have the same set up as you by the sound of it.
