
I heard that its a requirement to have open wheel nuts for sva, is this true it sounds a bit silly. apparantly to demonstrate proper 6 turns of nut

I believe 'Bob' had closed wheel nuts on his Indy when it went for sva, they just asked him to remove a wheel nut to check the thread length

My nuts dont have holes in them.
Mr SVA never even looked at them.
Wouldn't worry about it tbh
If you have alloys and you use those ford steel wheel nuts you can damage your alloys cos they dont have that spinny bit that the close nuts have.
Mine are closed and werent checked at SVA
Mine were open and they still asked to remove one to check for the 60° taper!
