Any more info on the car? Weight? Rear suspension type? Standard width or wide? Engine type? Do you envisage playing with anti-roll bars?

The simple answer is as soft as possible so you do not hit the bump stops too often on the track on which you are competing.

Use a front ARB to control the roll at the front to keep the camber in check and to balance the car (over under steer)

The shocks will control the transient responses and give the car the precision and instant response.
