i have noticed on some cars and on drawings, that the sierra diff is "hard mounted" to the chassis.

has anyone experienced any bad vibrations or severe noises due to this?

or any other problems?

I have mine hard mounted, no probs at all, regards Alan.

my whole bloody engine is hard mounted, the moment im off the throttle theres a deafening vibration from the panels!

My diff is solid and some it is noisier than a rubber mounted diff but it is acceptable.

I am actually more worried about the diff expanding (or not being able to) when it gets hot and altering the buid tolerences.

All the Strikers from RAW have a solid mounted diff.

As far as I'm aware just about all BEC kit cars also have the engine solid mounted.
